Fundamentals of study organization

1. General provisions
1.1. KeeleLabor OÜ (registration number: 14513803) organizes in-service training according to the Adult Training Act and the standard of in-service training.
1.2. KeeleLabor OÜ is an in-service training institution that organizes preparatory courses and individual studies for the Estonian language proficiency examination.
1.3. The training is conducted at Laki 11B or in the training premises of the customer.
1.4. The trainings take place in groups or individually.
1.5. The duration of the training is based on an academic lesson (one academic hour is 45 minutes).
1.6. The working languages of KeeleLabor OÜ are Estonian, Russian and English.
1.7. The basic document of studies is a curriculum that defines:
1.7.1. title of the curriculum;
1.7.2. curriculum group;
1.7.3. learning outcomes;
1.7.4. conditions for starting studies, if these are a prerequisite for achieving learning outcomes;
1.7.5. the total volume of study, including the proportion of classroom, practical and independent work;
1.7.6. learning content;
1.7.7. a description of the learning environment;
1.7.8. a list of study materials if study materials are provided for the completion of the curriculum;
1.7.9. the conditions for termination and the documents to be issued;
1.7.10. a description of the qualifications, training or work experience required to complete the training.
1.8. Curriculum and changes in curriculum are approved by KeeleLabor OÜ.

2. Collection and processing of personal data
2.1. KeeleLabor OÜ collects the following information about students: name, e-mail, phone number and personal identification code. The personal identification number is required for the certificate. Personal data are processed under Section 6 of the Personal Data Protection Act.

3. Registering for training and completing a training group
3.1. Registration for training:
3.2. Training must be registered in advance. Registration can be done by e-mail info@keelelabor.ee or by phone (+372) 553 8599.
3.3. Assembling the training group:
3.3.1. The study group is formed according to the order of registration for the training. A confirmation of registration for the training shall be sent to each training participant.
3.3.2. In order to start the training, a list of learners will be drawn up.
3.3.3. KeeleLabor OÜ has the right to cancel the training or postpone the training until the training group has been completed. Registrants will be notified by phone or e-mail with at least one day’s notice. In case of cancellation due to reasons of the organizers, the training fee will be refunded.

4. Starting and attending the training
4.1. Students who have enrolled for the course, received confirmation of enrollment and paid the entry fee can start the training.
4.2. Participation is confirmed by the participant’s signature on the registration form.

5. Completion of training and exclusion procedures
5.1. The participant who has completed the training shall be issued with a certificate.
5.2. All participants in in-service training have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to give feedback both orally and in writing.

6. Payment for training
6.1. Payment for the training will be based on an invoice submitted electronically. The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated on the invoice.

7. Abandonment of training
7.1. If you are unable to attend the training, you must inform KeeleLabor OÜ by e-mail info@keelelabor.ee or by phone (+372) 553 8599.
7.2. If the participant notifies less than 1 day before the start of the training, the tuition fee will not be refunded.
7.3. It is possible to transfer the paid tuition fee to pay for another training provided by KeeleLabor OÜ.

8. Discontinuation of training
8.1. Tuition fees will not be refunded if training is dropped. If there is a good reason for the interruption (illness, business trip, etc.) then by agreement with KeeleLabor OÜ the learner can join the next group.

9. Rights and obligations of the learner
9.1. The learner has the right to:
9.1.1. choose a training program appropriate to his/her abilities and interests;
9.1.2. require high quality training;
9.1.3. receive information on the study organization and curriculum of KeeleLabor OÜ;
9.1.4. demand a refund of tuition fees for courses that were canceled through the fault of KeeleLabor OÜ;
9.1.5. leave voluntarily before the end of the training, in which case the tuition fee will not be refunded;
9.1.6. obtain a certificate of enrollment at the end of the training.
9.2. The learner is required to:
9.2.1. act in the event of an emergency (fire, water emergency, bomb threat, etc.) in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the training center staff;
9.2.2. maintain prudent use of the teaching facilities and property of the training facility;
9.2.3. act in accordance with generally accepted standards of morality.

10. Qualification requirements for lecturers
10.1. Lecturers must have higher and / or pedagogical education and be active in the field of language learning. In-service training is provided by lecturers who hold an adult education professional qualification or an adult education professional qualification certificate.

11. Dispute Resolution Procedure
11.1. Disagreements and disputes between KeeleLabor OÜ and the participants of the training will be resolved primarily by negotiations. If the disagreements cannot be resolved by negotiations, the dispute will be settled in Harju County Court.
